Degree Requirements

Requirements

学生必须在批准的500级课程中完成至少33个学期的学分 courses. This includes 6 hours for thesis work. A minimum of 24 semester hours must be completed at the University of South Alabama. At least 27 semester hours must be taken in communication.

Non- Degree Seeking Requirements

Core Courses

对于具有传播学本科学位的学生，正常要求 consist of the following 3 courses. These courses must be completed at the University of South Alabama.

Remaining Courses

Directed Studies – CA 594

Special Topics

Transfer Credit

Students may not transfer core courses. Students may submit up to 9 hours of graduate course work for transfer consideration. Hours used toward another degree may not be transferred.

Grade Requirements

A minimum of a 3.0 GPA on all work attempted is required for graduation.

Time Limitations

Course Load

Written Qualifying Examinations

Graduation

申请硕士学位的申请人必须在大约六个月的时间内申请学位 in advance of the anticipated graduation date. The Registrar’s Office oversees the process and requires an application fee. Once the application is submitted, the Registrar’s 办公室完成一份检查表，以确定是否满足所有要求.
